Untangled for Success 💡
Innovation In a commendable move towards inclusivity, MP Caroline Nokes has lauded The Coven, a pioneering hair salon in Romsey, for its innovative approach to catering to neurodiverse clients.
This salon, believed to be the first of its kind in the region, offers a sensory-friendly environment with low lighting and a tranquil atmosphere, ensuring a stress-free experience for its patrons. The owner, Verity Wall, has crafted a space where understanding and patience are paramount, transforming what can often be a daunting task into a welcoming experience.
The calm environment, low lighting, and the team’s understanding approach were refreshing to see. It’s wonderful to see such an innovative and inclusive business in our community.
Ellure Beauty has breathed new life into the former Hale Newsagents building in Downton, transforming it into a charming salon. The grand opening on December 7th was a bustling affair, despite the disruptive Storm Barragh.
Locals flocked to see the complete makeover, reminiscing about the building past as a sweet shop and reptile store. The salon, run by Ella and Andy Stretch, offers a range of beauty treatments, from foils to facials, and plans to introduce laser treatments soon. The community warm reception, with local businesses contributing to the event, underscores the salon promising start.
